We are happy to announce the beginning of our new project called Haricane. The project, which is co-funded under the Pre-seed program of the Research and Innovation Foundation in Cyprus, aims to develop the first VST solution to utilize a x86-64 architecture platform that can load unlimited up-do-date VST3 protocol software plugins directly from VST vendors without any further modifications to their software structure while featuring incomparable economic benefits to the end-users. The flexibility of the Haricane project aims to become a huge asset in the music industry and a unified factor between various 3rd party software vendors.
The 18-month project is implemented by Octave Technologies Ltd (HO) and CyRIC (PA1) and aims to advance the current technology readiness level to TRL6, by validating the technical and market feasibility of the technology, disseminating the results and raising awareness on its unique selling proposition.
